Roland brings over 15 years of executive search expertise across the APAC region. Prior to co-founding SeeStar, he worked with a leading US-based executive search firm specializing in tech portfolio leadership for PE/VC-backed companies. With a strong foundation in placing teams and leaders within corporate governance functions for global clients at top legal search firms, Roland expanded his focus to a broader range of executive roles, partnering with founders of high-growth tech companies and investors. His current specialization includes recruiting commercial leaders for PE/VC-backed B2B, B2G, and cross-border tech companies, as well as conducting critical searches for senior leadership in finance, legal, and HR.

Roland's client base spans multinational corporations, Chinese private enterprises, and diverse investment institutions. His notable collaborations include companies such as Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Intel, McDonald's, Nike, Adidas, Johnson & Johnson, Ping An Group, Luckin Coffee, and Capital A.

He holds an LL.B. from Shanghai International Studies University and is fluent in both Chinese and English. Outside of work, Roland enjoys reading, sports, and playing classical guitar. He also supported the establishment of his family’s e-commerce retail brand, Levaland, and consumer goods brand, GuGuLe古古楽. He resides in Shanghai with his family.
